Apple Retina Display Factory Planned

Is Apple Taking Its Display production to a whole new level?

Well it seems that way and if the Rumors are true from the Nikkei Business Daily, they suggest Apple and Toshiba may be planning to build a custom factory together to manufacture Retina Style Displays for the Apple iPhone and iPads. This prosed factory is said to be costing Toshiba around 100 Billion Yen but will in return allow the firm to double the number of displays it is able to produce. Hence being able to build retina Displays for apple as well as its own products and to its other clients as well.

The Report goes on the say that Apple is investing in the plant as well siting that its opening its business market to see who can produce better quality. This is an interesting Development, not the least bit surprising because LG is the current and only supplier of Displays for The Apple iPhone iPad And iPod Touch. Toshiba has denied the Report claiming that is has not made a commitment to produce displays for Apple. But it seems they will be going public within in the next coming months.
